Admissions Process
Our goal is create an admissions process that is accessible and allows your family to gain an understanding of our community and the learning environment at The Brownstone School.
We do not meet children during the admissions process, rather focus on building partnerships with families that believe in The Brownstone School's mission and values.

As an ISAAGNY member school, we follow the notification and reply dates set forth by ISAAGNY.
Applying to The Brownstone School
Below are both required and optional steps for applying to The Brownstone School. Steps one through three must be completed for an application to be considered complete.
1. Application

Complete our online application on the Parent Portal

There is a $75 application fee.

Application deadline for 2026-2027 is February 1, 2026.

Please note, while the application deadline is February 1st, we may close applications earlier should we have more applications that can be be fully processed before the ISAAGNY notification date.
2. Parent Meeting and Tour

After completing an application and submitting it online, you will be asked to self schedule a parent meeting and tour.

This a 20-30 minute walking tour of our building. It is an opportunity to see our classrooms in action, learn more about our program, and ask questions.
3. Connect with a Parent Ambassador

A Parent Ambassador will reach out to schedule a time to talk about our school and community from a parent's perspective.

This is the final required application step.
4. Optional Admissions Revisit Open House
The Revisit Open House is an optional opportunity to revisit the school and meet with teachers and current community members. The this event requires a submitted application in our Parent Portal to attend. ​​
