Community

The Brownstone School is a not-for-profit, independent school and is governed by a Board of Trustees. The community of trustees, administrators, teachers, parents and children is nurturing and supportive. The Brownstone School has a wonderful and caring faculty and administration. Some teachers have been with us over 20 years, bringing maturity and wealth of experience, while others are relatively new and bring new and creative ideas into the classroom. The parent community is close-knit and supportive of the school's development efforts. Opportunities to be involved in the life of the school are numerous. Alumni are active in the school community as well, participating on committees, attending development events, and often just dropping in to visit their former teachers. Our close-knit community is an important component of what makes The Brownstone School so special.
